MAG is one of the six founding Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, which coordinates the efforts of more than 1,300 associations in over 70 countries. The International Campaign was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. MAG's programme in Cambodia started in 1992 and now employs nearly 400 Cambodian civilians, including 48 amputees and 46 women deminers. |
